Program and Curriculum

Providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for infants as young as 3 months of age. Our classroom environment encourages each infant to explore their world while developing fine and gross motorskills and reaching milestones. Teachers ensure the same care to each infant that they would receive at home. Parents will have access to our SmartCare app that will allow daily updates within the classroom as well as communication with the teacher. Each child will have a monthly feeding schedule so we can mirror their schedule from home.

Assisting in the growth of each individual child as they begin to develop through the most important years. Teachers begin to introduce structure and routine within the classroom and provide a creative play time to encourage the imaginations of our children as well as a learning time. Our Toddler classes will have a daily circle time where they can learn their alphabet, primary colors, numbers 1-5, and shapes through a faith based curriculum as well as music, singing, and a story time. They will begin to hear bible stories about Jesus in their day to day learning and get to experience our all school weekly chapel time where we come together to worship and learn about Jesus. We communicate with our parents through the SmartCare parent app as well as daily folders where you will receive monthly newsletters and arts and crafts done throughout the week.

Ensuring educational growth each day with our specialized lesson planning. Our teachers focus on thoroughly teaching letter and number recognition and beginning letter sounds. Daily circle time for our preschool classes  will also include calendar and weather, science/social studies, beginner Spanish, weekly bible stories and bible verses. Writing skills are introduced as students begin to learn how to trace, write letters and their names along with scissor skills. Teachers use innovated ways to teach students to ensure readiness for the upcoming years. Our goal is to encourage each child begins to develop their self confidence, independence, and responsibility.

Focusing on teaching the whole child's social and academic skills with introduction to reading and phonics. Students will learn the basic math skills of addition/subtraction, graphing, patterns, and more. Teachers provide more in depth learning with social studies and science including once a week science lab. On Fridays, our Pre-K teachers will include a time for rotations as this begins to prepare the children for what to expect in Elementary.
Students will receive daily bible studies and lessons in their everyday learning. Teachers will also focus on tuning fine and gross motor skills through hands on learning and gross motor activities. We pride ourselves on ensuring each child begins to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

At Trophy Lakes Academy, we want to focus on the growth of each individual child educationally and spiritually. We pride ourselves on providing more of a one on one experience for your children in a lower student to teacher ratio. This allows us to provide a safe learning environment for each student.  As a private Christian school, we will ensure that your child will learn about Jesus daily through our faith-based curriculum. Teachers will include in their lesson planning a daily bible lesson and worship time as well as an all school weekly chapel.
We teach with our Bob Jones curriculum and a SOR method for teaching phonics in which our Kindergarten teacher is trained in. We follow the Kindergarten TEKS guideline for the state of Texas as we strive to give each student the type of education that will prepare them for their upcoming years with ease.

Our school-age after-school program provides the after school care for children attending either Lakeview or Beck Elementary. Your child will be picked up from school by one of our school vans and safely transported back to our facility where they will be checked in through our SmartCare system for parents to see through the app. Each student will receive a  snack upon arrival and be given the opportunity to work on homework in a quiet environment. Our students have the opportunity to participate in physical exercise and activities, educational games, dramatic play and arts and crafts. They will also get to experience a 20-30 minute Bible video or lesson each day as we continue to share the word of Jesus.
